Kord Lord : Provo, UT | Commercial and Lifestyle Photography |

–Commercial Photography and Lifestyle Photography–
I had the opportunity to collaborate this project with Steven. He is lauching a product called Kord Lord. Everyone, you really need to find out what good comes from this earbud cord manager. Are you getting excited about this? Because I am! Fortunately, I have the most perfect model AKA my husband. I got to take his picture up in Sundance while we were skiing and also I took pictures of him staking. I guess it's nice to have a talented person right next to me all the time. Steven, thanks for giving me a good excuse to take pictures of my husband! :)

お寿司 Sushi, Japanese Food: Provo, UT | Food Photography |

–Food Photography–
This is one of our favorite foods to make when we want to eat fish. Yummmm... We get tuna fish from Costco (It's usually around $15 and will feed two people).

Here is the insturction for those tuna lovers:

  1. Put tuna in the freezer over night
  2. Cut tuna the size you want
  3. Heat up the pan beforehand
  4. Sear tuna just around the edges
  5. Serve it with sesame dressing (Get the Japanese sesame dressing. It is the best!)
召し上がれ。

The Jones Family: St.George, UT | Family Photography |

–Family Photography–
These two are very special people. Special enough that we did a second photo session! I am not sure if you have noticed that most of the photos were taken from up above. You can call that "my technique" or they were too tall for me to meet my eye level. (I was standing on the rock when they were standing on the ground. Yes, a big difference!) We are not blood-related family, but are officially relatives now since 2012. I love my new family with 7 foot tall uncle and 6 foot something aunt (Just remember that they are MUCH taller than me). They... are so "cute." :) and are so in love!

Cheesecake: Provo, UT | Food Photography & Lifestyle Photography |

–Food Photography & Lifestyle Photography–
Yes, I decided to take a leap of faith and decided to bake a cheesecake A-gain for Valentine's Day. Uncle Stephen is a master baker, and he was kind enough to let me come over to complete this secret mission. This cheesecake was two-day process. First, you make the cheesecake and let it sit in the fridge over night. Then, you make the cherry topping the day of. I took this mission very seriously since I was present with a chef. I don't know if I can ever replicate this, so why not show off when my cheesecake looks professional looking? AND, I challenged myself to do more food photography. Enjoy. Happy Post-Valentine's Day, everyone!

Lisa's Bridal Shower: Provo, UT | Engagement Photography |

–Engagement Photography–
It was an honored to throw a bridal shower for my dear friend. I have been to many bridal showers, but never invited people over. Yes. My first bridal shower planning ever. I already had the Temple cookie cutter, so I had to use it. Well, the cookies expanded and were too fat to look like a Temple, so while the cookies were still in the oven, I had to take out the half-baked cookies and cut them into the shape again. They turned out great at the end. Those lemon ice cubes did not look like the ones from the Pinterest, but they worked. I borrowed some cute flowers, fancy plates, and a vintage lace table cloth from my neighbors. (Live where you can find crafty friends! They always have great ideas for me) I can't just put these fancy food on my KSL table. (Thank goodness!) in order to follow the princess theme. The final result of this party: I think I like throwing a party. It was so much fun!

The Willyerd Family: Provo, UT | Commercial + Family Photography |

–Lifestyle & Family Photography–
The Willyerds were nice enough to let me interview them for my internship at Sprout Kids and even take pictures of their kids! Yay for nice neighbors! I am truly grateful for my neighbors who help me endlessly. The Willyerds are one of them. I had so much fun getting to know them and taking their cute photos. You would think that their kids are professionally trained to smile in front of the camera because even the little Henry was very patient with me and kept posing. Mothers are the best to raise photogenic kids! You can read the Willyerds article here at Sprout Kids. The mom shared her parenting techniques on how to discipline kids with love and understanding. It's a must read. She captures a real parenting in four paragraphs. Clear and short, but very to the point. I can definitely tell how much love these kids feel because they kept smiling at me even if I'm a total stranger. :)
